Cancer and Sleep Problems
Insomnia, or the inability to sleep, is a common problem for those with cancer. Insomnia includes having problems getting to sleep, staying asleep, or still feeling tired after waking up.
Poor sleep can lower the quality of life for anyone, especially those with cancer. Insomnia can lead to fatigue, and memory and concentration problems. It may also cause you to have changes in your mood, such as anxiety or depression.
