Sequence from more extensive animation revealing the pathophysiology of obstructive sleep apnea in adults.

This sequence is from an episode on the dangers of insufficient sleep and common sleep disorders – sleep apnea, insomnia, restless leg syndrome, and narcolepsy.

A key goal here was to visualize the anatomy and physiology accurately, yet in a sophisticated, clean, and easy-to-read manner.

In addition to this sequence, we produced an immersive 360° virtual animation (1.5 minutes) that provided a step-by-step breakdown of the process of obstructive sleep apnea.

A slight “smoke” visual was added to help convey a sense of air flow.
